The system that generates clear risk analysis from data provided by risky constructions patterns: Yap.NET
Network-Based Computational Risk Assessment Platform Project
Yap.NET is a system that models risky constructions and carries out risky construction analysis using the data provided from these models; it has been developed in 2015 and used since then in the risk analysis of buildings that were to undergo urban transformation throughout the country.
Before Yap.NET, various applications from several firms were used and they provided different outcomes. There was no chance to check what were the analysis parameters nor their accuracy. That’s exactly why Yap.NET was developed: to standardize construction modellings, analysis results and reports based on these results.
Institutions and organizations authorized in risky constructions detection in all provinces across the country were put in the service of Ministry of Environment and Urbanization experts and provincial directorates’ employees.
Since modelling processes are carried out through a web browser, models are accessible from any computer and the Yap.NET interface, with its easiness and simplicity, guides the user through modelling without any difficulty. It is integrated with the Araad.Net system developed within the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization and which contains risky buildings’ attribute data and where all processes are carried out.
Yap.NET Modules and Competencies
Modelling
The application allows for two- and tree-dimensional construction modellings and structure’s all elements get visually displayed on the browser
Analysis
Finite element analysis is performed and the points where the structure bends or twists are visualized in detail. Analysis’ detailed results are given on the basis of the buildings’ elements
Reporting
Users receive in depth reports about the analysis results
